Frequently asked questions

Below, we answer some the most frequently asked Questions on our platform

  • How often do you upgrade the system ?
ReptileClassifieds.ca is new....and built from the ground up. We didn't feel like there was a cookie-cutter classifieds ads system out there that suitably addressed the concerns of what many reptile enthusiasts who purchase and sell online required. What that means is that the site is evolving daily. We have a dedicated team of coders who work on the site at an ongoing basis. So, the short answer...weekly, if not daily.
  • Please use the Contact Us form to submit any complaints about users, site questions, or other feedback. We use a helpdesk system that is monitored always, to get back to you in a timely fashion.
  • YES! The basic casual user can sign up, post ads, respond to ads, and browse the site free of charge. There are upgraded memberships available, but you certainly don't need to upgrade to use the site.
  • Becoming a Club Member gives you additional privileges when using the site. When posting ads, you no longer need to wait for them to be approved. You can take advantage of "Power Seller Pricing" on many of the ads. This pricing is determined by the Power Sellers, and is lower than the normal posted price. Not all ads have this special pricing, but many of our Power Sellers provide a discount. You also get discounts at our Retail Partners. These are stores accross Canada, that you can show your generated ReptileClassifieds.ca ID Number, and take advantage of discounts in-store. You can see the Retail Partners on this page.
  • A Power Seller is an upgraded membership subscription that gives sellers upgraded posts, unlimited ad listings, ability to mark ads as SOLD to keep them on the site and indexed by search engines, front page bio exposure and listing in our Power Seller Directory.
  • Anyone can create an event, and it looks like someone else created the event for you. Just contact us and we'll give you access to edit it. Please be sure to explain that you are the promoter/owner of the event.
